TC Marine works closely with a variety of sub-trades, ranging from engineers, hydraulic technicians, electricians, riggers, surveyors, upholsterers, decking solutions (MarineDeck and U-Dek) and many more.

The Marina Shop Ltd

The Marina Shop’s primary business is marine insurance. We understand the needs of cruisers and skippers. We offer Blue Water (2 person), Coastal, Public Liability Insurance (“3rd Party”) and Travel Medical Insurance. Quotes are free. We insure vessels all over the world through well know and respected “A” rated insurers with a history of settling claims quickly and fairly. Most of our insurance is underwritten by Lloyds of London syndicates. Importantly, if you need to make a claim we will stick with you throughout the claims process.

Electric Boat Co NZ Ltd

We offer a range of high quality, robust electric boats for sale or hire.

We also sell and install quality, commercial-grade motors for all types of electric boats, whether you are converting an existing boat or designing a new build. Our product range is all manufactured in Europe, designed and proven to last for decades in continuous service on hire craft. Unlike other cheaply built electric outboards available in NZ, You can rest assured that our range of products have been selected because they will stand up to everything the tough NZ boating environment can throw at them, and they’ll keep on doing it for decades to come. That’s true sustainability.

In November 2020 we plan to launch our own fleet of electric boats for self-drive hire on the beautiful Kerikeri river in the Bay of Islands, the heart of New Zealand’s winterless Northland.

Our electric boats will provide the unique opportunity to explore the tranquil Kerikeri river in silence and serenity, getting up close to birds and wildlife.

No license is required to hire these electric boats, but we can provide lessons or even an experienced, licensed commercial skipper/guide if you’d prefer to sit back and relax while we do the driving.

Catering for catamarans yachts and launches and with plenty of space for 15 – 25 boats, we are ideally situated for local clients, Auckland boat-owners en-route to the Bay of Islands and for overseas passage-makers planning a stop-over here in New Zealand.
