The Admiral first started with the opportunity to develop an already solid performing hull in the form of the Steadecraft 33 ft patrol.
A desire for wanting the best in ourselves and everything we do, both at work and personally, led to the complete remodeling of the existing boat. Thousands of hours and over 60 highly detailed fiberglass moulds later the first Admiral was born.
While every piece was meticulously hand sculpted we designed and built articles that were both functional and aesthetically pleasing. Often using 2, 3 and even 5 piece moulds to build 1 part. This has in turn led to clever details and features only found at the top end of the pleasure boat market.
With 23 years in and around the marine industry and a lifetime in and on the ocean, Director Steven Clement has grown up with a love and passion for the ocean and boating. Serving his fibreglass boatbuilding apprenticeship at Buccaneer Boats and then continuing on to add his timber boatbuilding credits working on a 60ft Ron Given designed catamaran, he has since worked on a 40ft Roger Hill cat fitout, plug and mould design and build with the Whitecloud team and various moulding, production fibreglass and boat repairs, before designing and producing what we see today in the Admiral 10m luxury sports cruiser.
From years spent fishing, diving, water-skiing and surfing to quality time with friends and family, it is little wonder that the Admiral is the Ultimate Kiwi Dream!!!
