Sasga motoryachts are manufactured in a large, modern shipyard on the Spanish Balearic island of Menorca, using resin-infused hull-moulding to produce a strong, lightweight hull. Powertrains are twin Volvo Penta diesel inboards on shafts with the ability to run at 20 kts.
A duo of experienced New Zealand businessmen is behind the venture: seasoned Canterbury yachtsman Ernest Henshaw and well known New Zealand marine industry veteran Bruce McGill.
