Leading branding and digital design agency, Onfire Design has recently completed the rebrand and build of a new website for New Zealand boat builder Haines Hunter.

Onfire specialises in marine industry marketing, the work for Haines Hunter the latest of a number of design and branding projects from within the industry.

Alongside the new website, Haines Hunter now enjoys a sharp new logo, new boat graphics, new sales and marketing material and a new brand phrase – The Ride Just Gets Better.

“Over the past six months Onfire has been working closely with Denis Kendall and Lionel Sands at Haines Hunter learning about their design ethos and what makes a Haines a Haines,” says Onfire Design Managing Director, Sam Allan.

“Onfire also developed a brand and communication strategy to tell the Haines story more effectively.”

“We employed big, bold imagery and typography to reflect Haines Hunter’s unrivalled performance and strength in construction.”

With the website, Sam says the Onfire creative team took a simplistic approach with site structure and navigation functionality.

“The site needed to have an easy to use navigation system. To allow users to quickly find the information they are looking for and not have to go searching, getting lost, or worst yet leaving the site completely and going to a competitor. It was important that customers could find and engage with a dealer easily.”

“Haines Hunter is an iconic brand; they have been working on a lot of design updates that people may not be aware of, we will be assisting with rolling out a communications strategy to the buying public.”

New Zealand’s most internationally awarded design Agency in 2019, Onfire Design recently ranked in the top 50 for global design agencies by the World Brand Design Society – an independent UK based design resource of notable consumer packaging and corporate brand designs and trends from studios around the globe.
