KeelowCraft Boats are manufacturers of New Zealand’s premier Jet Boat
Due to the continued high demand for our boats, we are seeking an experienced boat builder/engineer to join our busy team manufacturing and fitting out Alloy Jet Boats. Ranging from Recreational boats, Commercial Tour boats and Marathon Race boats.
The position involves general repairs and maintenance of jet boats, light engineering and the manufacturing of new hulls and trailers, including the installation of engines, jet units and internal systems.
It is varied and interesting work in a new and very well equipped workshop.
While specific skills are important, so too is attitude and this role would suit a flexible, enthusiastic hard working individual who really likes to produce work of a high standard in a team environment.
This position would suit someone with a mechanical background keen to up skill his or her knowledge in the jet boat building industry.
Alloy fabrication and welding using both mig and tig methods would be an advantage but not essential as full training will be provided.
Applicants would need to have a very high standard of workmanship and be able to put their hand to anything.
Hours of work are Monday to Friday 7am-4.30pm, 45hours a week.
